Lodge weekends offer Explorer families the opportunity to explore new, snowy pursuits and provide a warm and welcoming home base to explore from. Lodge activities include: snowshoeing, cross country or downhill skiing, sledding, snow cave building, board games, etc.
Meals are included.

- Road Conditions: During winter and early spring, all cars must carry chains and a snow shovel!

Friday Mar 3: Meet at the Baker Lodge at the earliest you can. We realize it is a school day and traffic is rough, Tom and Dmario will get to the Lodge around 5pm to ensure all can make it in.
YOU MUST TAKE A COVID TEST BEFORE ENTERING THE LODGE. This can be in Seattle or at the doorstep but any positive persons will be denied entry.

Required Equipment
CLOTHES
- Boots (insulated and waterproof)
- Gaiters (optional but recommended)*
- Warm clothing and extra synthetic layers
- Long underwear top and bottom (synthetic)
- Wool or synthetic socks (multiple pairs!!)
- Liner socks (optional but recommended)
- Fleece or wool sweater
- Waterproof shell (jacket with hood and pants)
- Waterproof gloves
- Liner gloves
- Set of PJ’s to wear in the lodge
- Stocking hat (wool or synthetic)
- Brimmed cap
- Lodge slippers
- Sleeping stuff
GEAR
- Snowshoes*
- Poles*
- A helmet for sledding
- Backpack for snow activities and carrying stuff*
- Duffle bag to carry everything else
- Sleeping bag and pillow case
- If sleeping in the lodge, just a lightweight sleeping bag and pillow case will do (mattresses/pillows provided by lodge)
- If sleeping in a cave, bring two sleeping pads and a heavyweight sleeping bag*
OTHER
- Sunglasses
