Introduction to Extended Backpacking

For backpackers with experience on shorter trips, this evening seminar helps to bridge the gap between weekend trips of 2-3 nights and longer trips of 5-8 nights, including how to prepare and pack gear, clothing, and food. Experienced long-trip backpackers will share their experience and show you how they pack for various long trips around the Northwest.

Walking the Wild: Trek the Tour of the Jungfrau including the Eiger Trail, with Cheryl Talbert!

Enjoy another evening of grand photos and storytelling from the wilds of the world, this time from a grand 12-day, 100-mile trek in Switzerland over several high passes (including the highest trekking pass in the Bernese Oberland, the Hohturli) and through some of the most glorious Alpine landscapes the world has to offer. The zoom link will be open at 6:30PM, and the presentation will go from 7PM to 8:30 with the last 15-20 minutes being open for questions. You must have a ticket to receive the zoom link to join - free tickets are available!
