Winter Scramble - Kendall Peak (winter)

Slow progress as our group was the first tracks of the day through the heavy wet deep new snow.  At the 5100 foot elevation level, we witnessed a slab avalanche release just above the group.  No immanent danger to group, but we determined that it was time to turn around.
