Wallace Lake

5/15/15 Up via Woody Trail to Upper Falls, then up to the DNR road where we took a side trip to examine the impressive new bridge to nowhere across the Wallace River before continuing (in the opposite direction) to Wallace Lake for lunch at the picnic tales. Trail and road in good condition with minimal mud. Signage was good for the most part. The only confusing (if you had not been there before) spot was finding the route to the Greg Ball trail from the picnic tables. As usual, cold at Wallace Lake. Return via Greg Ball trail. round trip 9.5 miles in 5.5 hours. Weather overcast, but dry.
