Downwind both ways, sometimes. A little light, but no rain so we'll take it.
Edmonds to the Locks was a nice down wind run. Got right into the small lock and made a quick motor to Ivar's for dinner. Then a night on Union Bay. Sunday we went onto the Lake, going under the new SR520 high rise. Cut over by Bill and Melinda's to borrow 5,000 cups of sugar and a Windows 10 upgrade patch, but they weren't home. Went into Maydenbauer Bay to see how the other half lives. They are doing quite well, thank you. Then a cut across the North end of Mercer Island to confirm the we can't get under either of the high rises between MI and the Baker tunnels. Thanks for nothing, WSDOT/FHA. Went back to the North part of the lake under the East high-rise. Saw the Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain slugging it out in battle. Stopped at Carillon Point for dinner, and met a hearty sailor man who was signing on aboard the Lady for a 9 day stretch. Mr. Midshipman Will went ashore and the skipper single handed back to Union Bay for the evening. A great two days of yachting.
