Mountaineers says this is 6 miles but my GPS counted only 3 miles. I'm inclined to trust my GPS given how steep the trail is. There's very little snow left, maybe the last 300 feet up, so be ready to descend a steep, rough and rocky trail. In contrast to earlier this season, the waterfall crossing is not a problem right now.
A fun trip with beautiful views and beautiful weather, contrary to the weather forecast! I'd do this again but only as a full-blown spring snow scramble.
