Snoqualmie Mountain

Lovely, sunny day and pleasant party members combined for a wonderfully mellow trip. Obvious bootpath was snow free until about 200' below the waterfall crossing. We lost the track for a bit, then ascended to just below the cliff face for the correct crossing. We were on snow almost the entire time after that. Students got plenty of practice kicking steps and ascending and descending on steep snow.
Warm rocks at the summit made nice seats for a pleasant lunch. 4+ hours up. 2+ hours down. Note that actual trip length (from Alpental) is less than 4 miles round trip, though it feels like more.
