Sea Kayak - Boston Harbor Vicinity

We had eight paddlers attend the June 22nd Wednesday night paddle. It was a balance of four experienced, three recent graduates and one pending graduate paddlers. Winds were 5-12 knots from the west with a flood tide until 9 PM under overcast skies. Our route took us south to Gull Harbor for a high tide paddle deep into the quite waters were we saw 4 or more Great Blue Herons. On our return paddle a Pigeon Guillemot was observed delivering fish to a nest in the bluff above Burfoot County Park, several more Pigeon were seen fishing in the area. All participants completed the paddle successfully!
