Sea Kayak - Anacortes to Pelican Beach
Very nice trip weather was great on the first two days. Strong wind developed over night resulting sk IV conditions for part of the return trip.

Left from Seafarers park, paddle up the Guemes channel to Pelican Beach on first day. Did a day paddle to Strawberry Island (10 nm) on second day. Weather was perfect on first two days. On 3rd day returned to Anacortes, by paddling on the East side of Guemes Island, because of strong winds down the channel. Ran into SK IV conditions, high wind over 20 knots crossing Guemes channel. Very strong wind, round point on S end of island (Southeast Point), resulting in negative gain at times (SK IV+).
