The trail is eroded badly in places where people have cut switchbacks. A beginning hiker may find these places challenging. This is a beautiful easy hike I would normally recommend to new hikers, but not for now. Experienced hikers will not have a problem.
There is only one rapidly melting snow patch on the trail right now.
