Sail - Blue Fin, Shilshole Bay Marina

Alan was a great host and patient skipper for this sail.  He gave an excellent safety review on his boat.  The crew was very compatible, friendly Mountaineers group with considerable sailing experience.  We had a mix of variable winds including some nice steady breezes for some long tacks.  Alan shared his knowledge of sailing, the area, and his particular boat's characteristics which were helpful.  He gave a nice review of our route when we returned.  I was most impressed with sailing back into the slip.  Alan sails this 42-footer like a dingy.  Amazing.  I look forward to more sailing time on Bluefin.
