Ruth Mountain & Icy Peak Traverse

Just a couple of notes:
- Two creek or avy chute crossings with significant amount of snow. Well passable with some caution.
- Trail snow free until Hannegan pass, after that patchy snow until the glacier. Plenty of water along the trail.
- The gully after Hannegan pass is snow free, though wet at places. It is worthwhile to take the switchbacks for the last 3rd.
- Summit of Ruth is snow free, descent to the basin is snow free as well.
- Camped in snow, maybe one dry bivy spot. Good trickle of running water just blow the snowfield, easy scramble along the rock to reach it.
- Icy glacier looked good.
- Flies were plenty annoying and hungry up to Hannegan Pass, no flies past that.
