Penn Cove

Plan B contingency of Campbell Lake was executed upon viewing Penn Cove with its 18 MPH+ gusts of wind with predictions of higher winds and lower pressure forecasted. The group completed 3 hours / 7.3 odometer on the water. The lake was circumnavigated clockwise, a visit to island for lunch, a counter clockwise circumnavigation then back to the island before landing at the dock. Paddling maneuvers and techniques were practiced with a final of Dan doing a self-rescue. A good day on calmer water destination to provide a student paddle alternative.
