Paradise Area (summer)

This activity took place on the Trail of the Shadows across from the Longmire Inn. Each individual put forth their hardest efforts and completely tore out a rotting 110' boardwalk along the trail, as well as cutting out roots and rocks in the middle of the trail. All of the new lumber was brought to the site by the Mountaineers which will be used next week by Park staff to rebuild the boardwalk. Weather was fine until quitting time when it started heavily raining and thundering.
