Old Baldy Mountain

Aug 22, 2015 A sunny but smoky day. Great weather. Much of the route finding through bushwack area was aided by GPS. As recommended. we left the ridge at about 5000 ft. and headed for the saddle on the east ridge of the Mtn. Route from the saddle to the summit was sometimes on the ridge and sometimes off ridge on the south side. We could just barely see the summit of Mt Rainier from the top due to smoke in the air. It was a beautiful day otherwise, so no complaints.
3hr 15 min to top. GPS kept us on route back down the mtn.
