North Twin Sister/West Ridge

We went up N Twin Sister on 7/2/14. We camped at the locked gate. The approach logging roads are in great shape up until the final turnoff. There is a sign directing climbers toward N. Twin Sister at a major fork in the road. The final trail/road was marked with a cairn near a old log andis very overgrown with many water diversion cuts. We peddled and pushed our mountain bikes up to the trailhead. There was some snow on the climbers trail approach but the climbing route was dry. The snow N. face descent showed signs of AV activities but firm enough to downclimb. Glissaging looked a little dicey due to possible AV so plunge steps used. Very pleasant day and the bike ride down sure beats a long hike out.
