According to my GPS (and my legs), the trip is 14 miles, not the 10.6 listed.
We did the trip on May 8, 2014 with ten students who completed the experience field trip the day before. Despite everyone starting off slightly sore and tired, everyone enjoyed this trip. We didn't hit consistent snow until Navaho Pass. Weather was great: sunny, warm, but not hot. Took 9.5 hours RT, including 45 minutes at the summit.
