Mount Townsend

3/1/2015 Arrived at 8:00 AM and there were already a couple of vehicles at the trailhead. The trail was snow-covered after about 1/4 mile but very passable with microspikes. The trail get's pretty icy and slick from being walked on so recommend the traction devices. Beautiful hike and well worth the trip up. We could see everything from Mt. Baker on down to Mt. St. Helens. It was a popular trail as we ran into a number of groups going up as we headed down.
