Mount Rose (winter)

Had a great day. Started at 7:30 and go to Horse Camp at 9:30. Encountered snow at 3,500'. Those with micro spikes put them on but others proceeded without. Got off the traditional route about 3,700' and followed the snow trail up to intersect with the summit loop trail about quarter mile east of the summit.11. Got to the summit by 11. No snow on the summit rocks. Took the traditional trail back to Horse Camp. Took a side trip back up the summit loop trail to locate the Bear Camp side trail. Got back to parking lot by 3.
