Mount Rose

This was a private trip on a gorgeous day with only two other people on the trail. The road is in great condition for any vehicle, it appears to have been recently graded. We did the lollipop loop, and the overall trail conditions are good. The clockwise loop down to Horse Camp needs some trail maintenance in places, and particularly on a couple of short bridges over streams. However - many thanks to the crew who recently cleared several down trees across the trail!

Wildflowers spotted were: tiger lilies, penstemon, lots of twin flowers, salal, pearly everlasting, and several other unidentified flowers.  Also, a variety of mushrooms, large and small, are "blooming"!
