Mount Rainier/Emmons Glacier

Successful three day climb. Summit day Saturday 20th June, all 8 on the summit by 9.30 am. More melted out than usual for this time of a year. At the schrund we took a left instead of the standard route to the right. Had to do some route finding but found a good solid snow-bridge over the shrund and as such found a shorter route to the summit (most teams behind us followed our "new" route). Did not go onto the Emmons glacier on approach day to camp Shurman or on our exit day instead we scrambled the ridge above Camp Shurman back to camp Curtis, much quicker than the glacier route. Lots of rescues on the mountain on the Saturday. We stopped and lent our stove to a party with a climber with a broken leg.
