Mercer Island circumnavigation

This trip was canceled due to no signup.     I went ahead and did the paddle and found the launch site at Enatai beach was quite blocked by construction.  Parking was available.   It would be possible to carry kayaks down the stairs or through the landscaping if you were very determined to launch there, but there are better safer places.    I went to gene coulon park in Renton since they have a kayak launch I have used before.    Since I got a late start and this route was longer,  I didn't do the whole circumnavigation.  Launched and paddled about 10 nm up past Enatai and then back to gene coulon.  Saw many bird species, Seahawks training facility, may creek outflow, and nice view of mount rainier on the way back.
