Lincoln Park to Blake Island

TRIP: Lowman Beach Park to Blake Island

I've previously done this trip parking at the south end of Lincoln Park. This outing I launched from Lowman Beach Park, which I think is a better option.

UNLOADING: There is a drive way along the south side of Lowman Beach Park. At the end of this is temporary parking for 2-4 cars to unload boats. From here it is a short carry to the water. To get out you'll have to back up at least part of the drive before turning around.

PARKING: There is ample all-day parking on the near by streets.

I like this launch better than Lincoln park because the carry is much shorter and the street parking is closer. Lincoln Park has a long carry, the parking lot is limited time except on Sunday, and street parking a little further away.

There is big construction at Lowman Beach right now but the park is open and you can use this launch point.

PADDLE: Paddle to Blake Island, around, and back, as described in previous reports. Shortest route is just under 10nm.
