Lichtenwasser Lake

Our goal was Lichtenwasser Lake. We went to first switchback in road, and attempted to locate a place to cross the Smithbrook unsuccessfully. Not sure if low snowpack contributed to this. We attempted at one spot further up road, again unsuccessfully. At that point, we made an alternate plan to head up towards Lake Valhalla saddle (got to the 4400' mark), again negotiating multiple smaller creek crossings. Good day, but need more snow, and then will try again for Lichtenwasser.
