June 7th. Launched from Fort Flagler boat ramp near the store, 11am. Miled tide exchange, 2', and 1' and tides were low. Moving current at boat ramp is usual, today was mild between 1/2 and 1 knot. Explored end of spit, then straight for Mystery Bay for lunch stop and bathrooms.
N wind picked. Paddled approx 4nm return in sustained 10 kt headwinds. Tough student paddle because of distance against winds. One tow assist last 2 miles. Return to launch site: 5:15.
Eagles, seals, terns fishing, and beds of live sand dollars.
