Intermediate Snowshoe - Windy Knob

We parked at Blewett Pass, passed through the snowmobile  staging area and onto the left most of the groomed routes.  After a few yards, we left it at the switchback, taking a little used trail up and through a parking lot,  then recrossed the groomed trail before dropping downslope to the east to access a road coming up from Tronsen Meadow.  From here we discovered a system of trails not appearing on conventional  maps which led us up Windy Knob and Tronsen Head; much simpler navigating that had been expected.
