Intermediate Snowshoe - Surprise Lake

A good day to be in the mountains. The weather was mostly cloudy, we did get a few rain drops and snow flakes. The snow conditions were good for snowshoeing and the avalanche conditions were forecast as moderate, we found the snow conditions to be stable, but there were evidence of slide from the last storm cycle, last Monday/Tuesday. We did not find the summer time trail bridge over surprise creek but did find a snow bridge to cross up stream from where the bridge is.
