Intermediate Snowshoe - Monahan Mountain

Enjoyable ridge run to summit

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Firm snow condition all the way to the summit. Did not use snowshoes did use microspikes.

The weather was forecast to be snow/rain mix but we did not see either until we got back to the cars. We did the NW ridge route which had more views than I was expecting. The summit is tree covered so not much of a view from it. Overall a good day in the mountains.
