Intermediate Alpine Climb - Pinnacle Peak & The Castle (winter)

Reached the top of the ridge below the summit of Castle around 5pm.   Took 2.5 hours with 40+lb packs from parking lot to top of the ridge at the base of Castle.  White out, windy and snowing.  Saw a fair amount of fresh  snow and icy spots covering the summit.   With up to 6 inches of new snow forecast for the next day (out planned climb morning) with more coming in next afternoon we turned around got back to the lake and setup camp before dark.  Hiked out next morning.
