Interglacier

5/2/2015 Took the standard slog in. We put skis on and then promptly hit several bridges that we had to transition to cross. I wouldn't put skis on until later going forward. We took the trail out to the valley bottom rather than to the campsite. Bad move. The river had cut the snowpack into channels. Otherwise the trip was great. Future tips are to a) just take the summer trail in, once you get to the campground you can climb up to a rib at the St Elmos Pass end and traverse easily to the glacier. On the way out we traversed under the pass and down into the campground. Had to cross some debris piles but they were soft. No stability issues on the traverse and it saves a bunch of time.
