Trip Report

Ingalls Peak/South Ridge

Climb took place Sunday July 27
11 hours car to car at a moderate pace and a nice lunch break at the summit. Only a very small amount of snow left just below the start of the climb. I believe the best way to rappel is a single from the summit to the bolted ledge then a double from the bolts to the ledge with the large boulder. You can then either down climb to the next ledge or a single and then another single to just above the start. A short easy down climb gets you to the start. We shared our rappels with another team and it all went quite quickly. A great time was had by all.
