Herman Creek Ancient Cedars

Started from the trailhead at 9:20am. We had soft tread on over 75 percent of the route. We hiked by two beautiful waterfall falls that were right next to the trail. We stopped for lunch at our turnaround point in a magnificent grove of ancient cedar and fir tres. Oak trees draped in moss overlooked a bluff. We completed the hike at 5:10 pm. Everyone enjoyed this hike due to the gorgeous trees and waterfalls, the soft tread of the trail and the lack of other groups hiking this route.
