Hannegan Peak
A very good trip with big views. Would suggest going on a weekday, although Sunday's seem to not be too crowded. Hikers should be fit as last 1,200' is steep.

Excellent.
We were a party of 3. Sunny at start and then marine layer came in with cool winds. Great views. A number of tents high up on the mountain, even on the summit. Sunday seems to be a good day for smaller crowds. Lots of backpackers leaving and only a few groups coming in plus a moderate amount of hikers and trail runners. Interestingly we passed a couple who climbed Ruth Mountain, apparently without ropes or crampons. The woaman had a pack a little bigger than my lunch.
