Green Lake (Mount Rainier)

Perfect hike for a hot day. We were in the old growth forest most of the time en route to the lake. Stopping at Ranger Falls was refreshing. Took us 2:40 min including stops from car to lake. We also took a side trip to Chenuis Falls (~.8 miles one way) on our way back. Greenlake trail head was well marked and trail was well maintained. Lovely day and great conversations.
