Gothic Basin

Fantastic but very hot backpack up to Gothic Basin. The trail towards the top on the basin in sections had many down trees, is poorly maintained and is a borderline scramble in parts. Bug free and the creeks are still flowing so we had a chance to stop a few times and cool off on the ascent. A leisurely 4 hours up to our camp. Explored the basin and tarns, descended the next day. An excellent way to spend a Saturday night with great company.
