Day Hike - Talapus & Olallie Lakes
A cool evening, just right for a conditioning level hike. We had a pleasant time and dinner by the lake.

The trail is in great shape. We noted some recent improvements that will help with mud. The road is much improved from the potholed horror it used to be.
The evening was much cooler than the previous few weeks. That might be the reason our pace was up a bit. The forest and stream are beautiful. We passed Talupus Lake and enjoyed a lovely dinner break at Olallie lake.
