Dinner at a lake and a very pleasant hike through woods past a rushing creek and a second lake.

Recent work parties have really improved the trail. Roots and mud in places, otherwise great.
We had the trail and lake to ourselves. Another group left the parking lot as we arrived. The road was surprisingly free of potholes. This is a nice woodland hike with two lakes. No snow before Talapus Lake. There were small patches of snow on the way to Olallie Lake and many triliums. Really great group to share an evening with!
