Gorgeous day for a hike although this is one of the busiest trails at the pass.

The trail for the most part is well maintained. There was still snow in some places as we approached the ridge. Lots of snow but melting fast once we got to the ridge but we decided to make the ridge our turn around after seeing the slick conditions leading down to the lake.
