The trail was in great condition though muddy in places. Each intersection has a marker with signage about where it's heading.
We started quite early and we were the first set of cars in the parking lot. No permits are necessary for the watershed preserve.
We made a lollipop loop around the outer most loop within the watershed preserve. We did detour to a bench that has a view of the reservoir. There were also a number of ponds and streams along the trail. Part way through the hike, we saw a group of deer moving across a clearing. It was a really nice day to be outside.
