Day Hike - Paradise Valley Conservation Area

A hike through a local forest with well maintained trails.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • The route we took was well maintained though a little muddy from recent rain.

We arrived at the trailhead around 8:30 AM. The parking lot still had a few spaces open.

It was dry during the hike which we took advantage of to stop, talk, and look at birds and mushrooms. We also encountered a number of mountain bikers, trail runners, and other hikers during our outing. We still got plenty of solitude.

We did take a wrong turn during the hike since one of the trail signs was misread. This didn't change the hike much since the wrong turn was simply an alternate route.

Overall, it was a really nice start to the day!
