Some winter damage from fallen trees, but overall trail in good condition, WTA continuing to mitigate braided trails at summit by adding switchbacks.
Great group of eight with a moving average of 2.4 mph even with 1900 feet of ascent. Good combination of conversations and friendly banter among all participants. Couldn't ask for a better group and the weather was cool-ish, but had nice sun at Samish Overlook at noon for our lunch break. Many paragliders ready to launch as we departed.
