Day Hike - Licorice Fern Trail

This was our last after-hours hike for the season. A relatively short hike close to town was in order as dusk comes fast now.  Far Country Falls are barely a trickle right now.  You lose the wilderness experience when you cross a road and occasionally border people's backyards.  But the woods are pretty here and we only met one other hiking party. My hikers surprised me with a party featuring many yummy desserts. What a great group!
