Day Hike - Kamikaze (Teneriffe) Falls

The gate to the Kamikaze (Teneriffe) Falls trailhead parking lot was locked with no explanation or signage so we went to Mount Si to hike an equivalent distance.

The gate to the Kamikaze (Teneriffe) Falls trailhead parking lot was locked at 8:00am with no explanation or signage so we went to Mount Si to hike an equivalent distance. The sign indicated that the trailhead parking lot is open from 7:00am-5:00pm. 

We spoke with other hikers who had also found the gate to that trailhead's parking lot closed and locked as late as 11:00am. 

The main Mount Si trail was covered in packed snow. Footing was pretty good. As always, this trail was popular so we encountered many other people out to enjoy a sunny holiday Monday.
