Day Hike - Indian Henry's Hunting Ground

Perfect weather with cool air and warm sun. Saw many wildflowers, but they looked past their prime. Some huckleberries and blueberries were out and sweet! Not enough to bag up and take home, but there might be more in a week or two.

Had a nice visit with Rangers who were staying in the cabin. The aroma of cooking bacon inside sure made us hungry... Saw just a couple of day hikers and a group of Wonderland thru hikers arrived just as we were leaving. All the streamlets were dry, but head over toward Mirror Lakes to find some water for filtering. Overall, a wonderful day out.
