Day Hike - Holder Knob Loop

Warm and pleasant evening for a hike. A herd of Elk enlivened the trip.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Trail is in excellent shape.

This is a nice forest walk with a picnic spot for dinner. The trail is open even though a timber harvest is ongoing. This didn't interfere with the hike and does open some views. We enjoyed our hike. As we reached the parking lot, a herd of Elk crossed the road above us.
