The trail is in good shape. Work has recently been done. There is still work going on to replace two bridges that require the closure of Road A. And other trails will be closed intermittently, so be sure to check the status before heading out. This project should end by November 2021.
The weather was perfect for an evening hike. There was plenty of parking. One problem with this trailhead is that some GPS systems will send drivers awry. The directions on WTA are correct. In my welcome message, I link to WTA and advise people to cross-check their device directions with a map.
