The trail is short and steep, rocky in places. This trail is informally maintained. There was some blowdown to crawl over or under. It will probably be there a while.
New and improved: There is now a trail sign at the parking lot "Deception Crags trailhead." Space is reserved for cars and there is a gravel path to the Port-a-potty.
Having dinner with a view and good company was the highlight. There are viewpoints of Hall Creek Falls and Change Creek along the way.
