Lovely easy hike with a great group up the Greenwater River. Snow-free to the lunch spot past Greenwater Lakes. The river and lakes were beautiful! Trail is a bit muddy in spots, but well-maintained. Road is clear to the trailhead and suitable for any vehicle.
We left the trailhead at 10:20, headed for the second Greenwater Lakes. Lovely group of four Mountaineers. Some trillium blooming on the trail. The lakes and river were a lovely green color. After a nice long lunch, we headed back - hit the car at 1:30.
