Nice cool evening for a hike. The group enjoyed seeing Dirty Harry's relics and the hike in general.

Trail is in good shape. I don't know why WTA trip reports said the turn off to the museum was hard to find. It used to be, but now is a well beaten path.
Nice to have a cool evening after our recent heat wave. The parking lot was almost full, but the trail didn't seem crowded and no one was in the river. We didn't stop at the balcony and still had good views from the trail. The group was curious about the museum and enjoyed exploring it. We went back to the trail and had dinner by the stream. There are wildflowers blooming and quite a lot of foxglove, usually we see that much earlier.
