Day Hike - Dirty Harrys Balcony

We enjoyed dinner outdoors with a view on a hot evening.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Trail has been much improved and work continues. The area is posted as closed. The work party said it was OK to skirt where the new work is and continue, but I don't know if I would count on that again. Better to wait until the region is declared open.

We had a nice hike in the forest during a heat wave. We stopped at the first birdhouse we saw. This is a nice roomy area with a good view and huckleberry treats.

I believe we did less than 4 miles. There are a number of ledges to choose from, so which one you choose will lengthen or lessen the stats posted.
